Hungarian traditional costume
The Hungarian traditional costume is a typical way of
dressing of the Hungarians. The wear expressed the person's social place, age

holidays.
The traditional costume means the person's status,

example: on the men's hat the feather or the posy expressed if he is a child or
a young man going on recruiting or a bridegroom.
The girls wore headdress called 'párta' wreath and
ribbons. The married women wore pinnen.
Long time ago traditional dress was made at home by

craftsmen.

Men's clothes were made of linen like shirts, drawers.
The waistcoat and trousers were made of thick broad cloth.
